This program is designed for Landscaping contractors providing sprinkler maintenance and installation, lawn and plant care, and incidental tree trimming services (less than 20 percent of total sales) as their primary operations.  The program is not intended for landscape architects who do not perform such service work or who subcontract all their work. Groundskeepers may also be eligible for this program, subject to underwriting review.

Liability Underwriting and Rating

• Up to $1MM/$2MM Limit (Umbrella/Excess Available)
• Rated per $1,000 payroll
• $100 each additional insured or $500 blanket additional insured
• Low deductibles available
• Low minimum premiums
• Errors and Omissions available for a surcharge, subject to a minimum premium, providing coverage for damages arising from any negligent act, error or omission
• Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator Coverage is included at no charge
• Lost Key Coverage at a $25,000 limit
• In Transit Pollution Coverage at $25,000/$100,000 limit included
• Property Damage Extension included at a $5,000/$25,000 limit (up to $300,000 available)
• Submit operations involving any tree removal or highway or power line right-of-way maintenance
• Prohibited: crop spraying; sale of fruit trees and seeds; seedman’s liability; pesticide/herbicide treatment if more than 50 percent of gross sales of business or 20 percent if sales involve algae and plant control in lakes, ponds, rivers and streams; tree trimming if more than 20 percent of gross sales
